Beautiful Townsend Skies
With the majestic Great Smoky Mountains as your backdrop, every moment spent at our Inn is filled with scenic beauty. Our guest rooms are designed for comfort and relaxation, many featuring private balconies or terraces where you can take in the sweeping mountain views, the rustling trees, and the sounds of nature. Whether you’re sipping your morning coffee or watching the colors change at sunset, you’ll find yourself immersed in peace.
One of the most magical parts of staying at The Highland Manor Inn is the night sky. Away from the glow of the city, Townsend offers stunning stargazing opportunities. On a clear evening, the sky comes alive with stars. It’s not uncommon to see constellations, shooting stars, or even the Milky Way stretching across the horizon. We encourage all our guests to take a moment, step outside, and look up — the night sky here is a sight you won’t soon forget.
We also love seeing our guests capture their favorite moments! Whether it’s a scenic sunrise over the mountains, a peaceful hike in the Smokies, or a star-filled sky from your balcony, we invite you to share your photos with us. You can tag us or send them directly, and we’ll feature them on our Facebook page to highlight the experiences that make The Highland Manor Inn so special.
